About the Position

Contract | Days | 4 x 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services within an inpatient rehabilitation unit serving PT, OT, and Speech patients
• Treat a diverse patient population including cardiac, stroke, orthopedic, ICU, neurological, and med-surg cases
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including PT aides, team leads, and hospital support staff across a 7-day-a-week coverage model
• Participate in weekend rotation (every 3rd weekend, with potential for every other weekend) and integrate into the permanent staff holiday rotation
• Document patient care and progress using Cerner EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active California Physical Therapist license
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist
• Minimum of 1 year of acute care hospital experience
• Proficiency or ability to work with Cerner EMR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience treating stroke patients; facility holds stroke certification
• Background in orthopedic, neurological, or ICU patient populations
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
