Senior Collections Manager Consultant

A confidential client is seeking a Senior Corporate Collections Manager to lead a centralized accounts receivable and collections team supporting 100+ business units. This is a high-impact contract role for a hands-on leader who can drive cash collections, team performance, and process improvements in a complex environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Corporate Collection Managers and contract staff
  
• Oversee large, multi-entity AR portfolios and collections strategy
  
• Serve as escalation point for complex or high-risk accounts
  
• Partner with internal stakeholders to resolve past-due balances and billing issues
  
• Guide lien rights, bond claims, and escalation strategies
  
• Build and maintain Excel-based reporting (aging, tracking, dashboards)
  
• Improve workflows, accountability, and collections effectiveness
  

Qualifications

• 7+ years of commercial collections experience (construction or related industry preferred)
  
• Proven leadership experience in collections or AR teams
  
• Strong knowledge of lien laws, bond claims, and collections processes
  
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, reporting)
  
• Experience working in multi-entity or multi-ERP environments
  
• Strong communication and coaching ability
  

Preferred

• Construction or project-based industry experience
  
• Familiarity with AIA billing, retainage, and change orders
  
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Sage, or similar
  

Pay Details: $50.00 to $65.00 per hour
