Registered Nurse - Inpatient Acute Care Resource Pool (Part Time)

Job Title

The incumbents will coordinate and deliver patient care utilizing the Nursing Process and following all established standards of practice within State and Federal guidelines. Provide oversight of non-RN personnel and act as a resource for ancillary staff on assigned unit. Act as preceptor to new staff and/or students as requested. Adhere to all facility policies and procedures, including the Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program. Provide safe and therapeutic care using the ICARE values inherent in our hospital culture. As part of the ACRP RNs deliver professional nursing care to age-specific patients in Acute Care Inpatient Division, which includes a 30-bed Medical Oncology unit, a 15 bed Cardiac unit, a 17-bed medical surgical unit and a 30-bed medical surgical unit. As a member of the ACRP, staff are afforded a unique opportunity to advance their career and expand their nursing skills by working in diverse environments. The ACRP RN is used as an adjunct throughout the acute care areas to ensure each unit is adequately staffed to provide optimum nursing care to all patients.

Work Schedule: 36 hours a week/ 12 hour tours: (NOC shifts available) with weekend/holiday rotation and on-call requirements. This position includes weekend/holiday rotation requirements. Staff are required to be on-call (on a rotating schedule) and therefore:
