Collection Manager

Sports & Imports Autos (SPOIMPO), one of Georgia's fastest-growing Buy Here Pay Here dealership groups, is seeking an experienced Collections Manager to lead and develop our collections department. We're looking for a results-driven leader who thrives on accountability, coaching, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate has a proven track record managing first-party automotive collections, preferably in a BHPH environment, and knows how to motivate a team while maximizing portfolio performance. What You'll Do Lead, coach, and motivate a team of collections specialists. Drive collection performance by monitoring KPIs, delinquency, and recovery rates. Hold team members accountable to daily and monthly goals. Handle escalated customer accounts and complex payment arrangements. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations. Analyze performance metrics and implement strategies to improve results. Collaborate with sales, underwriting, and repossession teams to maximize portfolio performance. Foster a positive, high-accountability, results-driven culture. What We're Looking For 5+ years of collections experience. Previous management or supervisory experience. Buy Here Pay Here (BHPH) collections experience strongly preferred. Experience managing first-party collections. Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills. Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to analyze KPIs and use data to improve performance. What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience.
