As a Sandwich Station/Prep Cook at Blue Loon Bakery, you will be essential to crafting the delicious breakfast and lunch items our customers love. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Preparing ingredients with precision and care, ensuring freshness and quality for in-person, take-out, and catering orders.
• Assembling, cooking, and packaging a variety of our cafe offerings (including but not limited to sandwiches, quiches, salads, soups, and parfaits), while meeting our high standards for taste and presentation.
• Managing the made-to-order hot station in a consistent and timely manner.
• Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, adhering to food safety and hygiene protocols.
• Collaborating with the team to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy hours.
• Assisting with other kitchen tasks as needed to support the bakery team.

To thrive in this role, you should bring the following:

• At least 1 year of experience in a similar role or in a food preparation environment.
• A strong work ethic and attention to detail, ensuring every sandwich meets our standards.
• The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
• A team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills.
• A passion for food and a commitment to providing a great customer experience.
