Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging procedures across various body regions using multi-slice CT scanners, following physician orders.
- Position patients, select protocols, and ensure high-quality, diagnostic images.
- Administer contrast media as ordered; monitor patients for adverse reactions and document responses.
- Operate CT equipment safely, adhering to radiation safety guidelines and protecting patient and staff from unnecessary exposure.
- Verify patient identity, transfer images to the PACS, and maintain accurate procedure documentation.
- Communicate procedures clearly to patients, maintain patient privacy, and assist with patient comfort during scanning.

Requirements
- Current ARRT certification in Radiography and active State of Maine radiologic technologist license
- BLS Certification (American Heart Association)
- Minimum 1 year of CT imaging experience
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
- Covid-19 vaccination on file
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and operate multiple hospital computer systems
