Whether you will spend your day brainstorming in an office cubicle, operating a crane, running manufacturing equipment or troubleshooting technical obstacles, at CMC, you’ll get the training and support from your team that you need to excel in your role and reach your full potential.What You'll DoRegularly holds safety, quality, customer feedback and financial information meetings with maintenance team membersReviews safety requirements and points out potential hazards that may existEnsures, at the start of the shift and throughout the day, the prompt assignment of technicians to specific jobs which are appropriate to their possessed skills and/or to their training needsReviews available planned job packages for completeness and correctnessConfirms the technician knows what, where, how, why, and when for each job providing the opportunity for clarificationMakes the tactical decisions necessary: staying as close to schedule as possibleAssures accurate distribution of time and materials to specific jobs together with good feedback including proper work order entriesAssures that any necessary corrective work orders stemming from inspections and other sources have been initiatedWhat You'll NeedMinimum 5 years maintenance experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience requiredExperience with Preventative/Planned Maintenance processes and procedures and ability to develop procedures and schedules preferredExperience working with and maintaining welding machines, hydraulic equipment, mechanical equipment, pneumatic equipment and cooling systemsAbility to read and interpret electrical, hydraulic and mechanical schematicsWorking knowledge of computers and computer softwareCertified Maintenance and Reliability Profession (CMRP) certification preferredYour EducationCollege, technical trade, and/or military training/education preferredWe are CMC, a Fortune 500 company at the leading edge of our industry.
