As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. You will communicate professionally, respond to security-related concerns, and contribute to a caring environment through teamwork, integrity, reliability, and an innovative approach.

Pay Rate: $17.38 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and other individuals while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, patient or visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting unusual conditions, hazards, or policy violations according to established procedures.
• Complete required documentation, including patrol logs, incident reports, and shift activity records, while maintaining a professional presence and supporting a welcoming environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Possess at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
