Viva Life Home Health & Home Care is a new, locally owned and operated organization serving San Antonio and surrounding communities along the I-35 corridor to New Braunfels. We are looking for dependable, compassionate caregivers who want more than just another caregiving job. Caregiver Responsibilities

Depending on the clients individualized plan of care, responsibilities may include:

• Assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and other personal-care needs
• Supporting safe mobility, transfers, and ambulation
• Preparing meals and assisting with grocery shopping
• Providing medication reminders
• Performing light housekeeping and laundry
• Assisting with errands and appointments
• Providing companionship and meaningful engagement
• Encouraging independence while protecting each clients dignity and safety
• Accurately documenting services provided
• Promptly reporting changes, concerns, or safety issues
• Communicating professionally with clients, families, coworkers, and agency leadership
• Arriving on time and reliably completing accepted assignments

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must:

• Have at least one year of experience caring for older adults
• Be dependable, compassionate, patient, and professional
• Understand and maintain appropriate personal and professional boundaries with clients and families
• Respect client privacy, dignity, preferences, and confidentiality
• Communicate clearly and follow instructions
• Be able to accurately document care provided
• Have reliable transportation to assigned clients
• Possess a valid drivers license and current automobile insurance when driving is required
• Be able to pass all required background, registry, reference, and employment checks
• Be willing to complete required orientation and ongoing training
• Be able to safely perform the physical responsibilities of assigned cases

CNA, Home Health Aide, dementia-care, hospice, facility, or in-home caregiving experience is strongly valued.
