About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP, Information Security & Compliance to serve as the Chief Information Security Officer and lead the global enterprise security and compliance programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, executing, and maturing a comprehensive security strategy that safeguards customer data, intellectual property, and infrastructure across all business units. This role demands a strategic leader with a strong background in commercial SaaS agility, public sector governance, and public company risk management. Key responsibilities include developing a security vision and roadmap, fostering a security-first culture, and ensuring compliance with a range of security and privacy standards, including FedRAMP, SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, and global privacy standards. Candidates for this role at the company should have a Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant technical discipline, at least 10 years of executive experience in information security, cloud architecture, and compliance within a global, publicly traded cloud/SaaS technology company. A proven track record in leading a cloud solution through the FedRAMP authorization lifecycle and a deep understanding of both commercial enterprise SaaS security and public sector regulatory landscapes are essential. The role also requires exceptional communication skills, the ability to negotiate security contracts, and experience in incident management, threat and vulnerability operations, and business continuity planning. Bonus points are awarded for advanced degrees, industry certifications, and knowledge of security frameworks related to AI and ML.
