Railcar Technicians - Electrical or Mechanical Experience

$23-24 Hr

Job Summary:

Morgan Staffing Services seeks Railcar Technicians in New Bedford/Wareham, MA area. This position is responsible for supporting work on passenger rail vehicles, and their electrical and/or mechanical components. Candidates should ideally have electrical and/or mechanical experience. The Railcar Technician must adhere to and maintain strict compliance with corporate policies and procedures, established health and safety protocols, and all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.

Core Responsibilities:

·       Troubleshoot electrical and/or mechanical components such as electronic equipment, circuit wiring, lighting, subsystems, auxiliary, HVAC, and hardware

·       Perform routine repair and maintenance work

·       Collaborate with Quality Control to investigate and resolve defects and quality issues

·       Assist monitoring, recording, analyzing, and reporting on equipment trends, failures, results, and recommendations.

·       Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience/Skill Requirements:

·       Detail oriented

·       Knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical concepts

Qualifications

·       Requires High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent reading, writing and reasoning skills)

• Positive work history / personnel record
• Valid driver's license is required
• Successful completion of a pre-employment screening process

Schedule

Monday – Friday from 7 AM – 3 PM with the ability to work overtime as needed, including weekends
