Hours of Work :Days Of Week :Work Shift :12X3 Day (United States of America) Job Description :Job PurposeThe ECMO specialist participates in the development of a treatment plan, involving assessment, planning, implementation, and education. Communicates with the ECMO physician and other members of the healthcare team to interpret, adjust and complete treatment specific to the ECMO patient care plan. Job Requirements: Education:Bachelor’s degreeCompletion of a designated ECMO training program, and/or formal education in Extra Corporeal Circulation. Licenses and/or Certifications:Registered Nursing License issued by the State of Texas Board of NursingOr RRT-Registered Respiratory Therapist License and Current NBRC – National Board of Respiratory Care Or CCP – Certified Perfusion LicenseAndBasic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart AssociationAdvanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through American Heart Association Work Experience:Minimum of 2 years of critical care experience Methodist Dallas Medical Center is one of North Texas’ best places to work.
