The position requires a commitment to patient care and a collaborative team environment. The nurse will manage a patient ratio of 6:1 for RNs and 7:1 for LPNs. Common patient populations include those with strokes, brain injuries, amputations, multi-trauma, hip fractures, spinal cord injuries, debility, and cardiac conditions. Experience with electronic health records, specifically Cerner, is essential. This role may involve working weekends on an every other week rotation.
