Job Overview We’re looking for an Emergency Department Associate Medical Director at UChicago Medicine Ingalls Memorial Hospital in Chicago. This position will lead, collaborate, and drive high‑quality emergency care as part of a premier academic health system. Responsibilities Lead and oversee clinical operations in the Emergency Department, ensuring efficient patient flow and quality of care. Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, scribes, and multidisciplinary teams. Implement best‑practice protocols and continuous quality improvement initiatives. Manage daily physician coverage and support for Fast Track and psychiatric beds. Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation and data analysis. Qualifications Board‑certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM). Minimum of two years of clinical practice experience.
