Global Capital Markets Collateral Loan Strategic Implementation Manager II

Overview Provides highly complex analytical, operational, and/or technical support at the business/department level within Global Capital Markets. Primary Responsibilities Develop and produce complex ad‑hoc and automated departmental reports and spreadsheets, including project or product strategy analysis, profitability, historical reporting, workflow and financial analysis to support Global Capital Markets. Research and gather business and financial information to support analytical activities. Complete moderately complex analyses to support business decisions. Provide feedback to management and recommend actions based on findings. Maintain thorough understanding of Global Capital Markets functions, processes, and operations; stay current on business and market trends that may affect the department. Plan, develop, and implement projects and initiatives to meet short‑ and long‑term business objectives; create project plans with activities, timelines, and effort estimates. Manage daily project activities and coordinate cross‑functional teams. Oversee implementation of compliance procedures and controls, develop training, and manage embedded compliance self‑testing, audits, and corrective actions. Manage budget, profitability, and business reporting; analyze variances, report to management, recommend and implement efficiency improvements. Define and contribute to achieving short‑ and long‑term business objectives. Adhere to company risk and regulatory standards, policies, and controls; identify and escalated risk‑related issues. Maintain internal control standards by implementing audit points and addressing regulator issues. Support a culture of belonging and reflect the M&T Bank brand. Complete other related duties as assigned. Scope of Responsibilities The role requires substantial interaction with internal and external contacts, serving as liaison between the department and other business units on various projects. The jobholder works independently under limited supervision and may act as a project leader or team member, serving as a resource for less experienced employees. Education and Experience Required Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the field, or a combined minimum of 7 years of higher education and/or work experience, including at least 3 years in the field. Highly skilled proficiency in spreadsheets, graphing and presentation software. Working knowledge of financial models. Excellent knowledge of pertinent operating systems. Education and Experience Preferred Advanced degree. Minimum 4 years’ experience in the field. Minimum 4 years’ banking or other relevant industry experience. Ability to work independently and as part of a project team. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent analytical ability and creative problem‑solving skills. Ability to function as a project leader. Compensation and Location Salary: $94,400.00 – $157,400.00 Annual (USD). Location: Wilmington, Delaware, United States of America.
