Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years MS Oncology RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Experienced registered nurses with strong backgrounds in MS Oncology and Med Surg are invited to apply for a rewarding contract role in a specialized skin and melanoma care department. This position offers a structured weekday schedule with no on-call requirements, supporting a high-acuity patient population in a collaborative oncology setting.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm

Required Skills and Experience:

• Active and unrestricted FL Registered Nurse license or multistate compact equivalent
• Minimum of one year recent experience in MS Oncology or Med Surg nursing
• Valid BLS and ACLS certifications
• College diploma or official transcripts ready for submission at application
• Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent communication, assessment, and critical thinking skills

Essential Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing skin and melanoma treatments, including administration of chemotherapy, monitoring for adverse reactions, and patient education
• Collaborate closely with oncology providers, attending to patient needs throughout treatment plans
• Assess, plan, and document care interventions per facility protocols and clinical best practices
• Support a safe patient environment through diligent observation, documentation, and infection control measures
• Participate in departmental meetings and quality improvement initiatives

Additional Information:

• Candidates must reside outside of Broward, Dade, and Palm Beach counties
• No on-call shifts required
• Department focuses exclusively on comprehensive skin and melanoma oncology care
