We're thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity in The Client's flagship market, Atlanta, GA. As a key player in the fastest-growing large consumer goods company in North America, you'll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring our facilities run smoothly and efficiently.

As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of duties to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain buildings and plant utility equipment. You'll work with a variety of systems and tools, ensuring everything is in top working order.

Key Responsibilities

• Repair plant building components including doors, windows, drywall, and more.
• Perform mechanical tasks involving electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and plumbing systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, steam boilers, air compressors, and other equipment.
• Use hand and power tools, electric meters, and soldering equipment.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and electrical schematics.
• Use SAP CMMS for work orders and documentation.
• Perform preventive maintenance and report system deficiencies.
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean work areas.
• Operate forklifts and scissors lifts for maintenance tasks.
• Work with external contractors for building and system repairs.
• Be available for occasional weekend work and extended hours.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Education equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of related work experience.
• Pass Client Technical Aptitude Assessment and background screening.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull force of 80 lbs.
• Capable of standing/walking for extended periods, often in extreme temperatures.

Preferences

• Experience with SAP CMMS.
• Familiarity with HVAC systems and plant utility equipment.
