Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a variety of ultrasound assessments, such as abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during examinations, offering clear explanations at every stage
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure high standards of diagnostic imaging
• Operate and care for ultrasound equipment, promptly reporting any issues
• Document procedures accurately and maintain patient records in the electronic health system
• Keep abreast of advancements in ultrasound technology and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Mandatory Certifications

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
