Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Press Operator to join a fast-paced printing and manufacturing team. This position is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring printing press equipment while maintaining established production, quality, and safety standards.
The ideal candidate will have previous machine-operating or printing experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to identify and correct basic equipment or quality issues during production.

Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Press Operator to join a fast-paced printing and manufacturing team. This position is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring printing press equipment while maintaining established production, quality, and safety standards.
The ideal candidate will have previous machine-operating or printing experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to identify and correct basic equipment or quality issues during production.
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor printing press equipment according to production work orders.
- Load raw materials and ensure materials are properly aligned and fed into the press.
- Review job specifications before beginning each production run.
- Monitor press performance throughout the shift to maintain consistent production output.
- Inspect printed materials for color, registration, alignment, defects, and overall quality.
- Make basic machine adjustments as needed to maintain product specifications.
- Identify equipment, material, or quality concerns and communicate them to the supervisor.
- Complete required production records, quality checks, and material-usage documentation.
- Perform routine machine inspections and basic preventive maintenance.
- Assist with cleaning presses, removing waste, and preparing equipment for the next production run.
- Maintain an organized supply of materials needed for assigned jobs.
- Minimize material waste and machine downtime whenever possible.
- Follow all established production procedures, quality requirements, and safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Work cooperatively with press assistants, quality personnel, and production supervisors.
- Cross-train on additional equipment and complete other production duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous printing press, machine-operating, or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Flexographic, gravure, rotary letterpress, die-cutting, or related printing experience is a plus.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to learn production equipment.
- Ability to read and follow work orders, job specifications, and written instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Ability to recognize printing defects and make basic machine adjustments.
- Basic math and measurement skills.
- Ability to complete production records accurately.
- Dependable attendance and ability to work the full second-shift schedule.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented production environment.
- Willingness to work overtime when required.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday
- Hours: 4:00 PM-2:00 AM
- Pay: $22.00 per hour
- Overtime may be available based on production needs.
