Job Description

The role of the Sales Consultant is to offer personalized attention to all of our customers by providing advanced knowledge of our products, services, and fashion trends. The Sales Consultant is responsible for educating and informing customers about the benefits and features of Ramsey’s products and services, assessing their needs, and providing them the best product. They are the embodiment of the Ramsey’s Customer Experience.

Previous jewelry experience appreciated but not required. 

• Focus on a Win-Win mentality with their co-workers and their customers in all situations
• Build Sales through proactively developing a client base, creating wish lists, reaching out to clients, and following up on special occasions
• Monitor and track all sales opportunities using the tools provided
• Follow up with all customers to ensure 100% satisfaction
• Give a formal diamond education to customers
• Perform customer transactions through POS systems including being able to perform all transactions types, payment methods and customer inquiries
• Sales Consultants will be trained in knowledge of diamonds, jewelry, and repair and services, including earning a Diamontology Certificate. (You don’t have to know about diamonds. We can teach you about diamonds.)
