Cardiovascular Intensive Care RN | East Falmouth, Massachusetts

Step into a dynamic clinical environment as an RN specializing in Cardiovascular Intensive Care (CVICU). This contract opportunity offers vital hands-on experience working with critically ill cardiac and vascular patients. Schedule/Hours:

• 36 hours per week
• Night shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required
• Rotating holidays
• Flexibility to float between CVICU and ICU units

Key Qualifications:

• Active RN license required
• Minimum one year of recent CVICU experience
• Demonstrated proficiency in caring for patients with complex cardiac conditions
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Detail-oriented and able to thrive in a highly technical, team-based environment
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver skilled nursing interventions to CVICU and ICU patients, monitoring vital signs and responding to rapidly changing conditions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to devise and implement individualized care plans
• Administer cardiac medications and manage advanced life support equipment
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and post-acute care needs
• Ensure documentation meets healthcare and regulatory standards
