Account Manager Local Ad Sales Market

The Account Manager (AM) will touch all facets of the business from aiding in the sales process to ensuring the delivery and stewardship of deals. The role includes coordinating short‑term sales inventory, collaborating with sales associates to manage client inventory, supporting Account Executives during absences, and working with station group leaders to ensure flawless campaign and inventory management. Arrange make‑goods for program changes on all deals. Prepare and update AEs on all deals/sponsorship execution & stewardship from start to finish. Join and participate in sales calls with Account Executives and internal meetings that involve sponsorship executions. Coordinate sales efforts with Account Executives. Coordinate & execute sponsorship elements by working with other departments; collaborate with marketing, research, and promotion teams to develop tailored sales presentations. Oversee project timelines, deliverables, and expectations. Project‑manage and coordinate with internal teams to gather necessary elements for campaign execution, including missing assets, tags, and approvals for custom assets. Create post‑recap presentations. Show proof of performance for sponsorships. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications What you bring to the team: 3+ years of Ad Sales planning experience (preferably linear) or TV buying/planning experience at an agency. Strong desire to win and grow as a digital Ad Sales professional; thrive in a team‑oriented environment. Strong PowerPoint skills with ability to create compelling visual presentations. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to prioritize and multi‑task in a fast‑paced sales environment. Extremely organized, detailed, and accurate with remarkable foresight. A devoted and driven work ethic. You might also have: BS/BA degree preferred; equivalent education and experience will be considered. Experience with FreeWheel, Salesforce, Operative, and/or WideOrbit. High proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel) and Google Suite products.
