A growing manufacturing company is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting. This is a great opportunity for an accounting professional with 2+ years of experience looking to expand their skills, contribute to a collaborative team, and grow within an established organization.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate financial records.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, schedules, and account balances.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies.
- Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other general accounting functions as needed.
- Assist with audit requests, internal controls, and process improvements.
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Working knowledge of GAAP and general accounting principles.
- Experience with general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and month-end close.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software or ERP systems.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.
- A proactive team player with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
