Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Electrician role in Biddeford, ME. Key Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, fixtures, and equipment in industrial and/or commercial environments. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installations. Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices and diagnostic tools. Ensure all electrical work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations. Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan. Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and production teams to support operational efficiency. Install and maintain control panels, motors, VFDs, PLC‑connected equipment, and lighting systems. Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections. Identify potential safety hazards and promptly report concerns to supervisors. Support facility improvement projects and equipment upgrades as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an electrical apprenticeship program preferred. Valid electrician license or certification (journeyman or equivalent preferred). Experience in industrial or commercial electrical environments preferred. Strong understanding of electrical codes, safety procedures, and lockout/tagout practices. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documents. Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills. Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs and work in physically demanding environments, including standing, bending, and climbing. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings or weekends, as required. What We Offer Competitive hourly wage based on experience. $35-$37 DOE.
