divh2Neurodiagnostic II Technologist/h2pThis part-time, day-shift Neurodiagnostic Technologist II role is based at Fishers Hospital and offers the opportunity to help build a brand-new service line from the ground up. The position consists of three 8-hour shifts each week and includes participation in an on-call rotation./ppThe technologist will work both independently and alongside another Neurodiagnostic Tech, collaborating closely with the Neurologist and inpatient care teams. The hiring team is seeking someone whos energized by joining a new program, comfortable adapting to evolving needs, and open to flexible scheduling./ppPrepares and provides neurophysiological testing and monitoring in the clinical, Neurotelemetry, and EMU settings according to departmental guidelines. Demonstrates knowledge/understanding of ICU, Epilepsy and seizure, neonatal and typical neurophysiological patterns. Works with a minimal degree of supervision when recording and monitoring patient data. Reports findings and triages patient care needs when necessary. Maintains high quality recordings and skilled in troubleshooting techniques. Collaborates with the continued growth of less experienced team members, shares knowledge, and precepts peers./ppAssociates Degree or equivalent years of experience is required./pp2-5 years of relevant experience preferred./ppGraduate from a CAAHEP accredited Neurodiagnostic Program is preferred./ppRequires a minimum of R.EEG T. or EP credentialing based on department requirements./ppRequires current BLS certification./ppRequires ability to meet all requirements of competencies in which Registries are held./ppRequires manual dexterity, visual acuity and the ability to concentrate for extended amounts of time under stressful conditions in order to properly and effectively administer Neurophysiological monitoring and testing./ppRequires the ability to recognize neurological comprising conditions and communicate those conditions to assure appropriate actions are taken./ppWe are an equal opportunity employer.
