Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an intensive care unit setting, monitoring and managing critically ill patients
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and responses in the medical record
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate emergency measures as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa or a compact state license
• Current BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum of 1–2 years of ICU or critical care nursing experience
• Ability to work night shifts, every other weekend, and every other holiday

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
• Familiarity with critical care protocols and evidence-based practice in an ICU environment
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills in high-acuity settings
