Job Overview Green Dot Public Schools is seeking a dedicated teacher for the 2026‑27 school year. The position focuses on delivering high‑quality instruction in alignment with Common Core State Standards and supporting students’ academic and personal growth. Facilitate rigorous learning by delivering cognitively engaging lessons that incorporate instructional methodologies. Engage in critical reflection, constantly revising practice to increase effectiveness. Participate in a professional community across your school site and the Green Dot network. Develop partnerships within the community by communicating with families and bringing resources that support student success in college, leadership, and life. Qualifications Have a bachelor’s degree (required). Have a growth mindset and love of learning. Have strong content knowledge, pedagogical understanding, and the capacity to plan and deliver instruction to meet student needs. Display a relentless commitment to high standards for quality execution. Be passionate and demonstrate personal responsibility toward ambitious goals. Have excellent collaborative and organizational skills. Have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Have a strong ethical base and self‑awareness. Be dependable, humble, have a sense of humor, and show a rock‑solid commitment to Green Dot’s mission and the communities we serve. Pass a TB test and background check at the time of offer. Credential / License Requirements Possess (or will possess by July 2026) a valid California Preliminary or Clear Multiple Subject or Single Subject credential in Math. Be eligible for a California Single Subject Intern credential in Math (must earn by July 2026). Hold a Short‑Term Staff Permit (STSP) or Provisional Internship Permit (PIP). Have a valid CPR certification meeting AHA or Red Cross standards. Compensation Salary range for credentialed teachers: $71,085 to $127,985 based on education level and experience. Salary range for aspiring teachers or credential‑in‑progress: $62,316 to $63,866.
