This is a full-time leadership role responsible for overseeing patient care services, staff development, and operational excellence in the Med-Surg unit. • Provide strategic and operational leadership to the Medical-Surgical department, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory standards.
• Oversee the delivery of patient care, ensuring adherence to evidence-based practices and quality standards.
• Manage and mentor a team of Medical-Surgical RNs, fostering professional development and a culture of collaboration and excellence.
• Develop and monitor department budgets, staffing plans, and resource allocation to maintain optimal efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local healthcare regulations, as well as organizational policies and procedures.

Candidate requirements

• Current, unrestricted RN license in the state of Florida.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required, Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience, with at least 2-3 years in a Medical-Surgical leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of medical-surgical nursing practices and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, optimize workflows, and lead quality improvement initiatives.
