The incumbent will engage, pre-screen, and vet candidates for DOT compliance and equipment readiness, effectively establishing a high-quality, conversion-ready pool of candidates to transition to the core Recruiting team for final hiring execution. Success in this role is driven by call activity, persistence, and the ability to quickly build rapport while promoting J.B. Hunt opportunities.Job Description:Key Responsibilities:Execute high-volume outbound cold calling in a fast-paced, call center environment to generate driver interest and maintain a consistent pipeline of candidatesManage inbound inquiries to efficiently convert leads into active candidatesConsistently follow up with leads through calls, text (SMS), and email to sustain engagementWork daily call queues and dialing systems to meet defined activity and conversion goals • Source and engage leads from internal databases, internet resources, and targeted recruiting campaigns Evaluate and pre-qualify driver candidates based on J.B. Hunt and DOT requirementsClearly communicate compensation, benefits, and available opportunities to prospective driversGuide candidates through the application and pre-qualification process, creating a smooth and timely experiencePartner with the core Recruiting team by providing clear, detailed hand-offs of qualified candidates to support final hiring and onboarding; cross-train to support other CDP functions, including assisting the Onboarding team as needed during peak call timesMaintain accurate and up-to-date records of leads, outreach activities, and candidate status within designated systemsBuild rapport quickly and overcome objections to maintain candidate momentumQualifications:Minimum Qualifications:High School Diploma/GEDAnd demonstration of the following skills and abilities through education, certifications, military, or other experiencesAbility to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas through various mediumsComfortable with high-volume cold calling and phone-based workAbility to manage multiple prioritiesAbility to work with minimal directionAbility to quickly pivot messaging based on market conditions, candidate objections, and specific hiring needsAbility to remain committed to completing objectives by sustaining effort and follow-through despite setbacksPreferred Qualifications: Up to 1 year of experience in recruiting, sales, customer service, call center environment, and/or military equivalentAbility to quickly build rapport and lead a conversation over the phoneExperience with cold calling, outbound sales, or high-volume outreach strongly preferredThis position is not eligible for employment-based sponsorship.Compensation:Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include skills, education, experience, geography, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
