Dietary Cook

Avir at White Rock a, a leader in exceptional care and compassionate hearts, is seeking a qualified Dietary Cook to join our family! As a resident, family-focused, and team-oriented individual, you will play a vital role in preparing and cooking high-quality foods for our residents, guests, and employees. This full-time opportunity is perfect for someone who is passionate about providing exceptional care and service.
Responsibilities:
Utilize a variety of cooking and food preparation equipment and techniques
Prepare simple food regimes and basic modified diets regarding individual resident nutritional needs
Adjust recipes to yield the required number of servings if necessary
Test recipes and recommend changes in recipes
Prepare and cook food in batches, maintaining high quality and appeal
Direct activities of one or more workers who assist in preparing and serving meals
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
Previous office experience preferred
Previous Nursing Home experience preferred
Culinary and/or food service experience in a health care facility preferred
