Brick City Cat Hospital is looking for an experienced  Veterinary Client Service Representative to join our feline-exclusive team in Ocala, Florida.

We are a privately owned, cat-only veterinary hospital with a long-standing reputation for excellence and gentle, compassionate feline care. As a  Gold-Level Cat Friendly Practice , our hospital is designed around the comfort and needs of cats — no barking dogs, no general practice chaos, and no corporate ownership. About the Position

This is a front desk/client service role for someone who understands veterinary medicine, enjoys working with cat owners, and can manage details accurately in a busy medical environment.

The right person will be friendly, organized, calm under pressure, and comfortable being the first point of contact for our clients. This position requires someone who can balance excellent customer service with accurate scheduling, documentation, payment processing, and communication with the medical team.

Required Qualifications

Applicants must have:

✔ At least 2 years of veterinary receptionist experience in a small animal practice
✔ Strong working knowledge of  Avimark — required
✔ Excellent phone and client communication skills
✔ A true appreciation for cats and feline behavior
✔ Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
✔ The ability to multitask with several software programs
✔ A team-focused attitude and willingness to help where needed
✔ Dependability, mental agility, and a positive approach to the workday

Primary Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Answering phones and assisting clients
Scheduling appointments accurately
Checking patients in and out
Registering new clients and patients
Collecting payments and processing transactions
Maintaining complete and accurate patient records
Assisting with patient admissions and discharges
Managing client forms and communication
Processing refill requests and over-the-counter sales
