This facility is seeking a board-certified pediatric hospitalist to provide night shift coverage following the resignation of a full-time staff member. The hospital maintains established clinical protocols and nursing support to ensure continuity of quality inpatient pediatric care. The credentialing process for this assignment is estimated at 3 to 4 weeks.

Kansas offers clinicians on assignment access to regional attractions and a variety of year-round activities. The state features opportunities for outdoor recreation, cultural experiences, and community events throughout its diverse regions.

The pediatric hospitalist will provide night shift inpatient coverage from 5:00 PM to 8:00 AM on an on-site basis, managing pediatric inpatients with support from 3 RNs. This assignment covers pediatric patients only; nursery coverage is not included. Documentation must be completed using the EPIC EMR system. Board certification in Pediatrics is required for this locum tenens assignment.
