Job OpportunityPosition: Behavioral Health RNLocation: Cleveland, OHShift DetailsSchedule: Day shift, 3x12-hour (07:00 AM - 07:30 PM)Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in geriatric psychiatric care. The RN will be responsible for the management of a behavioral health unit, providing comprehensive nursing care to patients with mental health needs.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough assessments of patients and develop individualized care plans.Administer medication management and monitor patient responses.Maintain detailed documentation of patient progress and interventions.Utilize milieu management techniques to create a therapeutic environment.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.QualificationsMust possess a permanent Ohio nursing license or a compact nursing license at the time of application.Minimum of 12 months of permanent behavioral health experience in a short-term acute care hospital.Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or American Red Cross.One recent reference from a supervisor, manager, or director in the specialty is preferred.Additional RequirementsCompliance with COVID-19 and influenza vaccination mandates is required, with limited exemptions.Background checks must be acceptable and free from any open cases.Candidates must complete necessary screenings and assessments prior to orientation.All candidates must be nicotine-free, except for specified exemptions.Application ProcessIf you meet the above qualifications and are interested in joining a dynamic health care team focused on providing quality behavioral health care, please submit your application for consideration.
