Senior Simulation Engineer

Simulation specialists are the core owners of our simulation and synthetic data stack, from environment generation to rendering to integration with training systems. We build high-throughput simulation pipelines to generate diverse, scalable data for robotics model training, bridging physics engines, rendering systems, and learning infrastructure. You’ll work with research and deployment teams to build robust simulation systems that support efficient training, evaluation, and continuous improvement. You will reduce the gap between simulated environments and real-world robot behavior. You’ll be responsible for: Building high-throughput simulation and rendering pipelines for robotics training. Designing interfaces between simulation systems, physics engines, and ML training pipelines. Developing platforms for large-scale simulation-based training and evaluation. Driving sim-to-real transfer through data generation, domain randomization, and feedback loops. Building closed-loop systems that continuously improve policies using simulated and real data. You might thrive in this role if you: Enjoy working at the intersection of simulation, systems, and machine learning. Think in terms of pipelines: how data is generated, transformed, and used for training. Care about performance, scale, and realism in simulation environments. Enjoy bridging theory and practice: you can make simulated results transfer to the real world. Have strong ownership and can define systems from first principles. Bonus points if you have: Experience with simulation, rendering, or physics engines (e.g., MuJoCo, IsaacSim, Unity, Unreal). Worked on robotics, RL, or sim-to-real systems.
