Schedule: 36 hours per week, night shift, rotating weekends and holidays; up to 6 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule period (Friday/Saturday for night shift)

• Cardiovascular ICU specializing in cardiac, vascular, and thoracic critical care patients
• Low patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:2 for optimal patient care
• Epic EMR system in use facility-wide
• Advanced cardiac interventions including CABG, valve repair, TAVR, heart/lung transplant, VAD implantation, ECMO, and aortic repairs
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
• Float opportunities within units of equivalent or lower acuity for expanded experience

Requirements:

• Valid RN license (Compact or Ohio state license)
• Minimum 2 years of Cardiac ICU experience preferred
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIHSS certification required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Previous travel experience preferred
• Proficiency in essential skills: IV start, telemetry, ventilator management, Swan Ganz/pulmonary artery lines, conscious sedation, intra-aortic balloon pumps, and PA line management
• Experience with advanced cardiac care including ECMO, CRRT, hemodynamic monitoring, temporary pacemakers, and chest tubes
• Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• Two professional references required (at least one from a manager, director, or formal supervisor)

• Ohio fingerprinting process must be completed immediately upon contract signing
• Strict compliance deadline: Tuesday prior to start date
• Former employees eligible after 6 months away from facility
• One pre-approved time off request available
