# Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular ICU Registered Nurse – Ohio

Start Date: November 16, 2026

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 36 hours per week, night shift. Weekdays and some weekends with rotating holidays. Up to 6 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule period (Friday/Saturday for night shift). Float requirements within units of equivalent or lower acuity, no more than once every 4 weeks.

• Cardiovascular ICU specializing in complex cardiac, vascular, and thoracic patients including CABG, valve repair/replacement, TAVR, heart and lung transplants, VAD implantation, ECMO, and aortic repairs
• Optimal patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:2 ensuring quality patient care
• Epic electronic medical record system
• 30-bed unit with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including PT, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Advanced equipment and procedures including ECMO, CRRT, hemodynamic monitoring, IABP, Impella, and ventricular assist devices
• 36 hours of orientation provided

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Cardiac ICU experience preferred
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIHSS certification required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Valid compact or Ohio RN license in hand at time of submission
• Nursing education from ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Previous travel experience preferred
• Demonstrated proficiency in: IV starts, telemetry monitoring, ventilator management, Swan-Ganz/pulmonary artery line monitoring, conscious sedation, intra-aortic balloon pumps, and PA line management
• 2 professional references required (at least one from manager/director or formal leadership)
• Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
