Everything we do is grounded in our core values of Service, Energy, Ownership, and People —and we're looking for someone who embodies these principles.What You'll DoAs a Senior AWS DevOps Engineer, you'll play a key role in building, scaling, and operating cloud-native SaaS products while helping shape how we deliver software at scale.Design, develop, and deliver production-grade SaaS applications on AWS, applying strong software engineering fundamentals alongside DevOps best practicesLead and contribute to service-based architectures, building systems that are scalable, resilient, secure, and maintainableLeverage AWS services such as EKS, ECS, and Lambda to support high-availability applications and modern deployment patternsWrite clean, maintainable code and actively participate in code reviews, setting a high bar for quality and consistencyContribute to architectural decisions that balance performance, security, cost efficiency, and long-term platform healthDefine, provision, and optimize cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Terragrunt, with a focus on reliability and cost-aware designShare ownership of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation, contributing to infrastructure-as-code and automated releases using tools like Jenkins and Argo CDPartner closely with QA and engineering teams to promote shift-left testing, automated quality checks, and early defect detectionTroubleshoot and resolve complex issues across production and non-production environments, ensuring minimal downtime and strong system performanceParticipate fully in Agile practices—sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives—while collaborating cross-functionally to deliver meaningful outcomesContinuously look for ways to improve developer workflows, system observability, and operational excellenceWhat We're Looking ForWe're looking for a senior-level AWS DevOps Engineer who is passionate about building and scaling SaaS products in the cloud. You bring a strong software engineering foundation, deep DevOps expertise, and a mindset rooted in ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.You thrive in fast-paced environments, take pride in solving hard production problems, and are energized by empowering teams to deliver reliable, high-quality software. You balance hands-on technical execution with big-picture thinking, and you care deeply about operational excellence, scalability, and customer impact.RequirementsMust be a US Citizen5+ years of experience in software engineering, with demonstrated ownership of production systemsProven experience building, deploying, and scaling SaaS applications on AWS, using service-based architectureStrong expertise in DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Argo CD), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Terragrunt)Hands-on experience with AWS services, including EKS, and operating applications in production environmentsStrong proficiency in one or more modern programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Node.js, JavaScript, Handlebars, or similar)Advanced debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills, particularly in complex production systemsExperience working within Agile development methodologies, using tools such as JiraFamiliarity with data and search technologies such as Redis, MongoDB, and ElasticsearchPreferred QualificationsExperience working on data-intensive platforms or complex workflowsBackground in law enforcement or related industries is a plusWhy Join LeadsOnline?Be part of a team where your work truly matters.
