Manufacturing Technician

Industry: Manufacturing in the Marine/Robotic/Defense Industry Location: Quonset, RI/North Kingstown, RI | Onsite Pay: $25-$37/hour Schedule: Shift options may include 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift We are seeking experienced Manufacturing Technicians to support the hands‑on assembly, integration, and testing of advanced autonomous underwater vehicles. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with mechanical and electrical assembly experience who enjoys building complex equipment, troubleshooting problems, and working closely with engineering team What You’ll Do Assemble and integrate complex mechanical and electromechanical systems Install, route, and troubleshoot cables and wiring harnesses Build equipment using engineering drawings, technical documentation, and work instructions Use hand tools, power tools, and standard manufacturing equipment Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues during vehicle assembly and testing Fabricate or modify components as needed during builds Build or modify jigs and fixtures used for assembly and testing Work directly with engineers to identify and resolve manufacturing issues Support improvements to assembly procedures and manufacturing processes Maintain organized tools, components, and manufacturing work areas Potentially support field and offshore testing activities as needed Required Qualifications 3+ years of hands‑on mechanical, assembly, maintenance, or manufacturing experience Experience assembling, maintaining, or troubleshooting electromechanical equipment Ability to read and follow engineering drawings, technical documentation, and work instructions Experience using standard hand and power tools Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability Detail‑oriented with a focus on build quality and safety Ability to work onsite in Quonset, Rhode Island Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance Preferred Qualifications Marine, subsea, AUV/UUV, robotics, aerospace, defense, or automotive experience Wiring harness, cable routing, or electrical assembly experience Experience troubleshooting electrical systems with a digital multimeter Experience working around electrical components up to 400VDC Fabrication, manual machining, CNC machining, or 3D‑printing experience Rigging, material handling, or applicable hoisting credentials Why This Opportunity?
