Your Impact As an Occupational Therapist at MetroEHS Pediatric Therapy, you will: Assess Client Needs: Conduct comprehensive screenings and diagnostic evaluations to determine each client’s current level of function and rehabilitation potential. Develop Individualized Treatment Plans: Design personalized therapy programs with measurable goals, adjusting interventions as needed based on client progress. Deliver Hands-On Therapy: Provide direct treatment using evidence-based therapeutic techniques to enhance physical function and mobility. Educate and Empower Clients & Families: Train clients, caregivers, and support staff on effective home exercise programs to promote long‑term success. Ensure Proper Equipment & Adaptations: Evaluate and facilitate the acquisition of necessary adaptive equipment and supplies to support client treatment plans. Maintain Accurate Documentation: Complete detailed clinical records and required documentation to support high‑quality care and regulatory compliance. Collaborate for Holistic Care: Coordinate with physicians, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure a seamless and integrated approach to rehabilitation. Drive Positive Outcomes: Monitor client progress, modify interventions as needed, and contribute to overall well‑being through expert therapeutic care. Qualifications State of Michigan Occupational Therapy License Current registration and licensure with NBCOT Physical & Environmental Requirements Active & Engaged Work – Kneeling, bending and playing at ground level. Hands‑On Support – Lifting up to 50+ lbs may be required. Quick Reflexes – Ability to respond to behaviors such as elopement (running away) or aggressive actions. Loud or Noisy Environments – Working with active children in dynamic settings. Potential Exposure to Bodily Fluids – Assisting with hygiene or accidental incidents. Clinic Location Plymouth Status Full‑time Work Schedule Monday - Friday, 9am-6pm Compensation After applying, a member of our recruiting team will call to review the pay range and opportunities for additional compensation through productivity bonuses. Compensation varies based on each clinician’s unique skills and experience.
