We are hiring a talented Senior Cloud Platform Engineer – Kubernetes Networking & Automation.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer to support and evolve a shared Kubernetes platform running on AWS. This role focuses on designing, automating, and operating scalable Kubernetes networking solutions while enabling application teams to deploy workloads through automated GitOps workflows. The ideal candidate combines deep Kubernetes networking expertise, Infrastructure as Code automation, and platform engineering experience to operate large-scale EKS environments supporting multiple application teams.

Key Responsibilities Kubernetes Platform Engineering

• Design, build, and maintain shared Kubernetes platform infrastructure running on AWS EKS
• Support multi-tenant Kubernetes clusters used by multiple application teams
• Build platform capabilities that enable teams to deploy workloads using standardized workflows

Kubernetes Networking

• Design and maintain Kubernetes networking architecture including pod networking, service networking, and load balancing integration
• Troubleshoot networking issues across Kubernetes clusters and AWS VPC networking
• Optimize IP address allocation strategies and help prevent cluster IP exhaustion

Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

• Develop and maintain Terraform automation for EKS cluster deployment and platform infrastructure
• Automate provisioning of clusters, node groups, and supporting AWS networking resources
• Ensure infrastructure is deployed through version-controlled workflows

GitOps and Deployment Automation

• Design and maintain GitOps workflows for automated application deployment into shared Kubernetes clusters
• Integrate CI/CD pipelines with Kubernetes deployment processes
• Enable application teams to deploy workloads through declarative configuration

Platform Reliability and Scalability

• Improve platform reliability, scalability, and operational visibility
• Implement monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting capabilities for cluster infrastructure and networking

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in cloud infrastructure or platform engineering
• 3+ years experience running Kubernetes in production environments
• Strong experience with AWS EKS
• Deep understanding of Kubernetes networking concepts
• Experience with Terraform or Infrastructure as Code tools
• Experience building or maintaining GitOps workflows
• Strong understanding of AWS networking (VPCs, subnets, routing, security groups)
