Senior Systems Analyst Programmer (COBOL)

Salary: $215,000 - 215,000 per year Requirements:

• We require at least 5 years of recent experience in an IDMS, COBOL, JCL, and z/OS mainframe environment.
• We require at least 5 years of experience in systems analysis, application development, and implementation.
• We need hands-on experience with IDMS utilities and components, including online and batch processing.
• We expect a strong understanding of mainframe job control, scheduling, and production operations.
• We require excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• We perform systems analysis, design, development, testing, and maintenance of mainframe applications.
• We develop and support batch and online applications using IDMS and COBOL in a z/OS environment.
• We maintain and enhance IDMS database structures, screen mappings, and application logic.
• We create and manage JCL for batch processing and job scheduling.
• We provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and implement fixes in a controlled environment.
• We work with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• We support application documentation and follow established standards and procedures.
• We collaborate with IT teams and end users to ensure reliable system performance and service delivery.
