Summary:

This role is ideal for an experienced Personal Injury Trial Attorney who thrives in the courtroom and is passionate about advocating for injured clients. As a Senior Trial Attorney, you will manage litigation matters through trial, serve as lead counsel, and work closely with clients throughout the case lifecycle. The ideal candidate has a proven record of jury trial success, strong client communication skills, and the ability to excel within a collaborative, technology-driven legal environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage personal injury litigation matters from case assignment through verdict or settlement.
• Serve as lead trial counsel and represent clients in court proceedings.
• Conduct depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations.
• Prepare and argue motions, discovery matters, and evidentiary issues.
• Develop litigation strategy and evaluate case value and risk.
• Maintain consistent client communication and provide case updates throughout litigation.
• Collaborate with support staff and attorneys to maximize case outcomes.
• Utilize legal technology and case management systems to efficiently manage files.

Experience You’ll Need:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active Illinois Bar license in good standing.
• Personal Injury litigation experience required.
• Minimum of five jury trials to verdict as lead or significant trial counsel.
• Strong courtroom presence and trial advocacy skills.
• Experience handling plaintiff-side personal injury matters preferred.
• Proficiency with legal technology, case management systems, and electronic litigation tools.
• Strong client service, communication, and relationship-building abilities.
