Were hiring a Family Law Paralegal whos organized, empathetic, and confident managing complex and sensitive matters. What Youll Do

• Support attorneys through every stage of a family law matterdivorce, custody, post-judgment, and more
• Draft pleadings, financial affidavits, discovery, and settlement documents
• Communicate regularly with clientsanswering questions, gathering information, and helping them feel supported
• Manage add organize case files, court filings, and scheduling
• Help prepare for mediations, depositions, and court hearings
• Track deadlines, billable time, and assist with billing
• Coordinate with courts and opposing counsel

What You Bring

• 15 years of paralegal or high-level legal assistant experience (family law preferred)
• Strong knowledge of Maine family court procedures
• Excellent drafting, communication, and organizational skills
• Comfort managing multiple active cases with competing deadlines
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and legal software (Clio is a plus)
• A calm, compassionate, and professional demeanorespecially when clients are navigating tough situations
