Travel RN - Interventional Radiology/IRAmerican TravelerBarrington, Illinois, United StatesAssignment type: travelShift: DaysLength (weeks): 13Openings: 1$3,640.00/week (estimated advertised weekly pay)DescriptionAmerican Traveler is hiring an RN for an Interventional Radiology/Cath Lab position requiring 2 years of cath lab experience and active IL RN licensure.DetailsCombined Cath Lab/IR department with 4 procedure rooms and dedicated Cath and IR staffLevel 2 Trauma Center with Level 2 NICU and Primary Stroke Center designation, Magnet-designated facilityPatient types include invasive cardiology, structural heart program, AAA repairs, TAVRs, and ablations (required), with IR biopsies and peripheral interventions preferredProcedure room staffed with 2 nurses and 1 tech per caseDay shift schedule, Monday-Friday 0730-1600, 40 hours per weekUses EPIC and MERGE charting systemsFloating required between Cath Lab and IR based on skillsetWeekend rotation required approximately every 4th weekendCall requirements of approximately 10 days per month, including 1 week every 3 weeks covering 530pm-730am weekdays and 24/7 weekendsHoliday coverage as neededRequirementsActive IL RN license requiredBLS and ACLS certifications requiredMinimum 2 years cath lab experience required; IR experience preferredExperience recording and circulating procedures, including moderate sedation (Fentanyl and Versed) with onsite sign-offEPIC EMR experience preferredMinimum 1 professional reference dated within the past year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RNCandidate DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for considerationAdditional InformationProvide nursing care across combined Cath Lab and IR procedures, including recording, circulating, and administering moderate sedationOnsite orientation lasts 1-3 daysScrub color requirement is procedural attireFree parking available on siteFirst-time travelers considered upon reviewFormer employees of Advocate Health or subsidiaries must be separated at least 12 months before being eligible for travel assignmentUp to 7 days of requested time off can be approvedLocal candidates accepted at the same pay rate with no radius restrictions
