As an HVAC Install Helper you will be required to assist experienced HVAC technicians with installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This entry-level role involves a variety of tasks, including assembling materials, transporting tools, and ensuring work areas are clean and safe. Helpers also learn about HVAC systems, safety procedures, and industry standards while working under the guidance of more experienced technicians. Key Responsibilities Keep safety precautions always implemented. Install HVAC systems and related equipment based on application & design, per manager Wire both line and low voltage to heating and cooling equipment. Install copper refrigerant lines to air conditioning units, including soldering and brazing Properly connect gas lines to heating equipment Installation of condensation lines to equipment Receive, verify, and load all equipment and materials needed for each job Be responsible for helper, including training. Demonstrate and establish effective working relationships with co-workers and superiors, including amicable working environments for all. Properly fill out all paperwork required for each job and take photographic documentation as requested by management. Basic ability to read and/or interpret blueprints Take refrigerant readings and interpret blueprints Take refrigerant readings and interpret accordingly to make appropriate adjustments, necessary. Maintain cleanliness of assigned company vehicle and keep always stocked Light platform work (repair/replacement) Sheet metal fabrication as necessary Any other assigned duties as directed, to include but no limited to, all duties outlined Requirements Willingness to learn HVAC installation and work under a lead installer Ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in attics or crawl spaces Basic knowledge of hand and power tools Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to work in outdoor and varying weather conditions Effective time management and organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored visa sponsorship.
