We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable  Accountant / Bookkeeper to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have 3–5+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience , strong organizational skills, and experience working within an ERP system, preferably  Rubicon ERP . This position will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting daily accounting operations, and ensuring timely financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily bookkeeping and accounting functions
• Process Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements
• Maintain the general ledger and journal entries
• Prepare monthly financial reports and account reconciliations
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Process customer invoices and vendor payments
• Monitor cash flow and maintain accurate financial records
• Prepare sales tax and other required filings
• Work closely with management on financial reporting and budgeting
• Maintain accurate records within  Rubicon ERP
• Assist with payroll processing (preferred but not required)
• Support outside CPA during tax preparation and annual reviews

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
• Experience with  Rubicon ERP strongly preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
• Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
