Utility 1 Worker – City of Riddle

The City of Riddle is seeking applicants for a Utility 1 Worker. This is an entry level position with great opportunity to move up. The applicant will perform semi-skilled tasks in the maintenance of city/park buildings, grounds and operation of Public Works structures and facilities: does related work as required.

Will be required to learn basic treatment plant(s) operations. Work as a crew member on street, water and sewer projects; operates treatment plants as a backup to operators; may work independently on selected jobs.

This position is subject to weekend rotation and to after-hours on-call assignments on a rotational basis and incumbents must be able to respond to City facilities or job sites within 45 minutes when on call.
