Your Responsibilities Include:

• Conduct various ultrasound examinations, such as those for abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging.
• Ensure the comfort and safety of patients during procedures, elucidating each step with empathy and clarity.
• Work hand-in-hand with radiologists and referring physicians to yield diagnostic images of the highest quality.
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment effectively, addressing malfunctions swiftly.
• Meticulously document procedures and manage patient records within the electronic medical system.
• Keep abreast of advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices.

Education and Certification Requirements:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred.

Necessary Certifications:

• Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred.

Skills Desired:
