Office Services Specialist

Location: Dearborn, MI (onsite) Duration: 5 Months Contract (Temp to perm) Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Provide onsite support for mail services, document imaging, copying, printing, scanning, and general office operations.

Perform administrative and building support tasks while maintaining a professional and organized work environment.

This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for a dependable, self-motivated individual who can work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Open, sort, distribute, and process incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and faxes.
• Scan, digitize, audit, and manage electronic documents for accuracy using document imaging systems and document management software.
• Operate high-volume copiers, scanners, printers, bindery, finishing, and other office equipment.
• Open, save, transfer, retrieve, and organize electronic files using Microsoft Office, email, and document management systems.
• Perform basic copier maintenance, clear paper jams, complete quality checks, and report equipment issues.
• Maintain service logs, meter readings, billing logs, inventory records, and office supply levels.
• Respond to customer service requests and answer questions regarding job status.
• Deliver completed work throughout the facility and assist with filing, document archiving, shipping, and receiving.
• Assist with meeting room setup, office moves, light maintenance, housekeeping, and other assigned support duties.
• Work overtime, evenings, weekends, or emergency hours as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 12 years of related office, copy center, mailroom, or administrative experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office, email, and document management systems.
• Ability to operate copiers, scanners, printers, bindery equipment, fax machines, postage meters, and other office equipment.
• Strong customer service, organizational, filing, and basic mathematical skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to learn quickly, prioritize work, and maintain professionalism in an office environment.
• Ability to sit for extended periods and perform frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 5055 lbs.
