Automotive Technician
Pay: $26.26 – $45.00 per hour
Location: Portland, CT
Hometown Garage is hiring an experienced Automotive Technician to join our growing team in
Portland, Connecticut.
We are a customer-focused full-service repair shop looking for a dependable technician with
strong diagnostic and repair abilities who takes pride in quality workmanship and being part of a
professional team environment.
This position is best suited for an experienced technician with at least 3–5 years of professional
automotive repair experience in a full-service shop.
Responsibilities
? Diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle issues
? Perform maintenance and repair work efficiently and accurately
? Complete inspections and document findings clearly
? Work collaboratively with service advisors and fellow technicians
? Maintain a clean and organized work area
? Deliver high-quality workmanship and customer service

Qualifications
? 3–5+ years of professional automotive technician experience

? Formal automotive training preferred
? Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
? Ability to work independently and efficiently
? Valid driver’s license
? Reliable transportation
