About the Position

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac Cath Lab for a 13-week travel assignment in Brick, NJ . In this role, you'll provide exceptional patient care throughout diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures while collaborating with physicians and the Cath Lab team in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and prepare patients before cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
• Provide nursing care before, during, and after procedures.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to changes appropriately.
• Circulate during Cath Lab procedures, including pacemaker insertions.
• Operate and monitor specialized Cath Lab equipment.
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC.
• Ensure patient safety while following evidence-based nursing practices.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Schedule

• Day Shift
• 40 Hours per Week
• On-call required (4 weekday call shifts plus one weekend per month)
• One summer holiday and one winter holiday on-call
• No floating required
• Hospital-provided scrubs

Requirements

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN License or Compact RN License
• Minimum 1 year of recent Cardiac Cath Lab RN experience (2 years preferred)
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) required; BSN preferred
• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS (AHA)
• Telemetry competency/certification
